Pete Seeger was brought to Edmonton almost 40 years ago by the United Farmers of Alberta. He had an audience of rock fans and farm families singing Little Boxes and Guantanamera. Our hearts were touched and our young minds opened by the Jubilee Auditorium’s dismissal of a Vietnam War protester–Pete jumped around on stage dismissing the dismissal with another song.
