    the post on honorable staying and being is beautiful.

    at a street cafe in boston a few years ago i met a young italian man who had spent four days around uluru asking if he could learn from teachers there. they turned him away. we had a long talk about the various issues and how he might respond with his unfolding life. he was in grad school hoping to learn how to be of service in africa or somewhere else. i appreciate having this memory rekindled and wonder where he may be now.
