This short poem by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.n2hos.com\/acm\/onfrederickmorgan.htm\">Frederick Morgan<\/a> captures some of the essence of BEING invited into a place where anything is possible, but it is all uncontemplated except in the moment:<\/p>\n<div><b>The Step<\/b><\/p>\n<p>From where you are at any moment you<br \/>\nmay step off into death.<br \/>\nIs it not a clinching thought?<br \/>\nI do not mean a stoical bravado<br \/>\nof making the great decision blade in hand<br \/>\nbut the awareness, all so simple, that<br \/>\nright in the middle of the day<br \/>\nyou may be called to an adjoining room.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>When we are at a point where &#8220;stoical bravado&#8221; seems our only option, sometimes we need to simply be more sensitive to the call of life in its subtlest forms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another terrific find by riley dog, whom I read every morning.
