Wilber&#8217;s classic four quadrants model inspired <a href=\"http:\/\/www.globalchicago.net\/weblog\/index.html\">Michael Herman&#8217;s<\/a> quadrants which underpin his book <a href=\"http:\/\/www.globalchicago.net\/ost\/invitingorg\/index.html\">Inviting Organization<\/a>, and that book has informed a great deal of my own work.  <\/p>\n<p>So that&#8217;s the lineage.<\/p>\n<p>I found an excellent paper today, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inspiralworld.org\/dox\/devleadercap.htm\">Developing Leadership Capacity: Searching for the Integral<\/a>,  which translates Wilber&#8217;s work into some very useful questions and then describes leadership styles according to Spiral Dynamics, a system for characterizing cultural memes and styles.  <\/p>\n<p>All very esoteric, but if you are at all interested in using Wilber&#8217;s work in an organizational or community development context, I suggest you look at this paper and specifically the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inspiralworld.org\/dox\/devleadercap.htm#LSSK\">lists of questions<\/a> which are designed to uncover the depth of leadership practice in all four quadrants.
