So allow me to introduce you to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.litteraturnet.dk\/danvalg\/frameit.asp?dest=http:\/\/www.litteraturnet.dk\/danvalg\/f_portraet.asp!fid=97&amp;fid=97\">Dan Turrell<\/a>, one of Denmarks best known authors and poets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Karma Cowboy Theme Song<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some folks got to reason<br \/>\nOh but I hope you\u00ef\u00bf\u00bdll understand<br \/>\nI don\u00ef\u00bf\u00bdt reason nothin\u00ef\u00bf\u00bd I\u00ef\u00bf\u00bdm just<br \/>\nridin\u00ef\u00bf\u00bd thru the land<br \/>\nridin\u00ef\u00bf\u00bd<br \/>\nridin\u00ef\u00bf\u00bd thru the land<br \/>\nwritin\u00ef\u00bf\u00bd<br \/>\ndaybreak thru my hand<\/p>\n<p>The Karma Cowboy<br \/>\nis only a tool<br \/>\nin the hands of a Karma<br \/>\nthat makes him a fool<\/p>\n<p>He\u00ef\u00bf\u00bdll go upside-down<br \/>\nand back \u00ef\u00bf\u00bdround the bend<br \/>\nHe\u00ef\u00bf\u00bdll see Death Mouth eating<br \/>\neach postcard you send<\/p>\n<p>He plays the act<br \/>\nhe knows how to play<br \/>\nHe says the things<br \/>\nhe\u00ef\u00bf\u00bds got to say<br \/>\nHe rides around<br \/>\nfrom town to town<br \/>\njust full-time turnin\u00ef\u00bf\u00bd<br \/>\nupside-down<\/p>\n<p>He got no plan<br \/>\nGot no idea<br \/>\nHe may not be<br \/>\n\u00ef\u00bf\u00bdI not even here\u00ef\u00bf\u00bd<br \/>\nBut as the wind<br \/>\nand smoke may dance<br \/>\nyou\u00ef\u00bf\u00bdll see him move<br \/>\nby simple chance<\/p>\n<p>He has to die<br \/>\nsome other day<br \/>\nThat\u00ef\u00bf\u00bds just to live<br \/>\nsome other way<br \/>\nAnd as they take him<br \/>\nout of sight<br \/>\na voiceless voice<br \/>\nsays \u00ef\u00bf\u00bdit\u00ef\u00bf\u00bds all right\u00ef\u00bf\u00bd<\/p>\n<p>It seems hard to believe these days but Dan Turrell caused a lot of controversy in Denmark back in the 70&#8217;s, not for his writing but for being bald and wearing black nail polish &#8211; it probably takes a little more these days.
