He issued a challenge and an invitation to work at a deep, deep level.  Since I heard him speak these words, my work has changed measurably.<\/p>\n<p>After the conference was over I asked if he could remember what he said and asked him if he could write it down.  He did his best to put the ideas in an email, which I have recast as the poem that it is.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>it is time!the training time is over<br \/>\nfor those of us who can hear the call<br \/>\nof the heart and the times<\/p>\n<p>my real soul work<br \/>\nhas begun on the next level<br \/>\nfor me at least<\/p>\n<p>courage is<br \/>\nto do what calls me<br \/>\nbut I may be afraid<\/p>\n<p>we need to work together<br \/>\nin a very deep sense<br \/>\nto open and hold spaces<br \/>\nfields<br \/>\nspheres of energy<br \/>\nin which our<br \/>\nand other people&#8217;s<br \/>\ntransformation can occur<\/p>\n<p>none of us can do it alone<\/p>\n<p>the warriors of joy are gathering<br \/>\nto find each other<br \/>\nto train together<br \/>\nto do some good work<br \/>\nfrom the heart with no attachment<br \/>\nand throw it<br \/>\nin the river<\/p>\n<p>no religion, no cult, no politics<br \/>\njust flow with life itself as it<br \/>\nunfolds in the now&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>what is my Work?<\/p>\n<p>what is our Work?<\/p><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My friend Toke Paludan Moller gave me a huge gift at the Practice of Peace conference.
