My poor Barmah hat has failed<\/a>. \u00a0A nasty hole has opened up at the seam and my trusty rain hat, my portable shelter for four years or so now has given up the ghost.<\/p>\n

So today searching for hope through the route of repair, I contacted Barmah’s Canadian representative, Brian Smith<\/a>, who resides not far from me on the Sunshine Coast, on the west side of our inlet. \u00a0I sent him the picture and he commiserated and we agreed that at times entropy has to have its way. \u00a0But for being a good sport he offered me a replacement hat at a very good price, which I was happy to take him up on. \u00a0In the ensuing conversation we discovered a mutual friend.<\/p>\n

So a new hat is on its way and my head will be dry and warm for the remainder of the winter and I’m left with a nice feeling of being treated well. \u00a0Thanks Brian!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
