Organisms contain cells but not vice-versa; cells contain molecules but not vice-versa; molecules contain atoms but not vice-versa. And it is <i>not vice-versa<\/i>, at <i>each<\/i> stage, that constitutes unavoidable asymmetry and nested hierarchy (holoarchy).
