I&#8217;m appreciating today <a href=\"https:\/\/ruk.ca\/content\/how-zoom-changed-my-life\">Peter Rukavina&#8217;s reflections on how Zoom changed his life<\/a>, and find myself silently nodding along with him. This one app kept food on my table when the future of my work was at stake.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>And speaking of networking<\/strong>, here is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/pulse\/goodreads-round-up-2025-sonja-miokovic-bd1uf\/\">an incredible list of links from Sonja Mikovic<\/a> at Tamarack from 2025 all related to networks, connection and organizing. It&#8217;s going to take me a whole year to get through these!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I\u2019m no fan of horror as a genre<\/strong> but I found <a href=\"https:\/\/3quarksdaily.com\/3quarksdaily\/2026\/01\/rooms-that-remember-space-in-japanese-horror.html\">this essay on how space functions in Japanese horror movies<\/a> to be very interesting. From time to time in my facilitation world, folks discuss Japanese concepts of ma and ba, reflecting the nature of the temporal and spatial dynamics between us. This conversation is currently happening <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/mansijasuja_what-happns-between-breaths-in-the-diamond-activity-7417090610702176256-4n2p\">on social media<\/a> between a few of us in the Art of Hosting community. It makes sense to me that the container has a personality in Japanese cinema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>That conversation coincides with <a href=\"https:\/\/aeon.co\/essays\/when-we-turned-time-into-a-line-we-reimagined-past-and-future\">this interesting piece<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/aeon.co\/essays\/when-we-turned-time-into-a-line-we-reimagined-past-and-future\"> from Emily Thomas <\/a>on the history of time as a line.
