Organizational life, when it separates accountability from decision making by downloading simplistic accountabilities to front line workers while constricting their ability to respond appropriately, is full of structurally dangerous situations. Dave\u2019s encouragement to look at the substrate for action is exactly right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Last month Ted Gioia published a post<\/strong> wondering if we hadn\u2019t reached the top of a stock bubble. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.honest-broker.com\/p\/is-the-bubble-bursting\">Just leaving this<\/a> here in case I want to come back to it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>At Game of the People, one of my favourite football blogs<\/strong>, guest writer Laura Joseph gives us <a href=\"https:\/\/gameofthepeople.com\/2025\/09\/02\/this-is-the-game-we-have-created-guest-writer-laura-joseph\/\">a run down of the current bubble in football<\/a> and why football economics is a little different from the bubble Gioia writes about. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A couple of films to look out for<\/strong> from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.windspeaker.com\/news\/windspeaker-news\/two-films-tiff-icing-amazing-cake-first-nations-actordirector\">Dana Solomon<\/a>. The first <em>Blood Lines <\/em>deals with themes of belonging and family in a Metis setting and stars Solomon in the lead role. I love that the film includes Michif dialogue. The second is Solomon\u2019s full directorial debut, <em>Niimi (She Dances) <\/em>is about an Indigenous ballerina who recovers her sense of self and love of her art after a traumatic episode.
