Skipping based endurance workout

A nice workout embedded in the comments section of a MetaFilter post on rope jumping. For reference. For reference, with a couple of modifications:

  • 2-5 minutes jump rope. (Boxers often skip for three minutes at a time, to go along with the three minute round. Although I don't compete in kyurogi, 2.5 minutes might be about right, a little more than a TKD round.
  • 10-30 push-ups
  • 20-50 crunches
  • 10-50 free squats
  • Shadow box or throw some light kicks slow for one or two minutes to recover
  • Repeat, with different shadow sparring moves.
Good for hotel rooms and such.
